Hakon Coilover Warranty
Hakon Coilovers are covered by a 24 Month/20,000km limited warranty.
Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Warranty begins from the original purchase date. Must provide proof of purchase from an Authorised Hakon Dealer to qualify for warranty claim.
This warranty covers the physical performance of the following: Mounts, Shock Bodies, Seals, Shafts, Fluids, and leaking shocks. This warranty is limited to New Zealand.
Hakon only upholds the warranty of its products to the original retail purchaser against defects in workmanship and material.
This warranty can be void due to ANY of the following:
Products were not professionally installed. Products show signs of improper installation, abuse, or damage due to collision or neglect. Products have been modified or altered from their original design and intention. Products that show corrosion, accelerated wear, or damage due to absent or improper preventative steps. Products being used for an application in which they were not designed or advertised. Products were not purchased from an Authorized Hakon dealer.
If a product has been found (at Hakon’s discretion) to have failed, the sole item or items will be replaced at no charge (subject to shipping charges) to the customer under warranty.
If Hakon can determine the failure without reasonable doubt, through detailed communication with the original purchaser via email, phone call, video recording, audio recording, or photo then no product will need to be returned.
If Hakon deems the product to be sent in for inspection to properly determine failure, the customer must do so to fulfill the warranty claim. Shipping will at that time be covered by Hakon via a return label. Upon conclusion of inspection by Hakon, if the part or parts are found to have failed or show fatigue not pertaining to the above-mentioned bullet points, failed parts will be replaced and shipping will be covered under warranty. If no failure is found, or failure is caused by the above-mentioned bullet points, the customer will be responsible for shipping charges to, and from Hakon as well as replacement part costs.
Hakon Control Arm Warranty
Hakon Control arms are covered by Lifetime Warranty for manufacturing defects and 5 Year / 40,000km Warranty on bearing wear.

KONI WARRANTY
The following outlines the comprehensive warranty policy of Hakon NZ LTD for KONI shock absorbers in New Zealand.
Warranty CoverageKONI shock absorbers for passenger and four-wheel drive vehicles come with a three-year (3) warranty period, with unlimited kilometres, from the date of purchase. The only exception is the KONI STR.T (Street) range, which has a two-year (2) warranty period.
For commercial vehicles, KONI shock absorbers are covered by a one-year (1) warranty period, unlimited kilometres, from the date of purchase. Meanwhile, KONI bushes, rubbers, etc., are covered by a one-year (1) warranty period, unlimited kilometres, from the date of purchase.
Warranty TermsHakon NZ LTD warrants the purchaser against faulty manufacture and premature failure of the KONI product within the specified warranty periods. However, this warranty will not cover KONI shock absorbers that:
Please note that vehicles that have been lowered, raised, or modified may be incompatible with KONI products. The purchaser and/or installer must ensure that KONI products are compatible and safe to use with the vehicle's modifications. Hakon NZ LTD will not be held responsible for improper fitment due to vehicle modifications.
WHITELINE WARRANTY
WHITELINE bushing kits with part numbers from W00001 to WZZZZZ and KSK000 to KSKZZZ (Bushing Kits) are covered for their lifetime. WHITELINE performance products include sway bar/ anti-roll-kits (excluding installation components) and bracing and alignment kits with part numbers from BAF000 to BZZZZZ, KCA000 to KCAZZZ, KSB000 to KSBZZZ, KLC000 to KLCZZZ and KDT000 to KDTZZZ (Performance Products) are covered for 3 years from the date of original installation.
Installation components including mounting bushings, brackets, fasteners and linkages (Fitting Kits) are covered for 1 year from the date of original installation.
The warranties relating to the Bushing Kits, Performance Products and Fitting Kits (together, the Whiteline Products) cover the Whiteline Products against factory defects in material and workmanship, other than coatings, when the Whiteline Products are used on passenger cars and light trucks under normal use and operating conditions. These warranties do not apply to any defects arising from the Whiteline Products being used on a race circuit or in any form of motorsport, or being abused, altered or incorrectly installed, lubricated or maintained. The warranties relating to a Whiteline Product only apply to the original purchaser who retains ownership of the vehicle on which the relevant Whiteline Product was originally installed (Purchaser). The Purchaser must ship the defective Whiteline Product to 4 Warringah Close, Somesby, NSW, 2250 (postage prepaid) along with a copy of the original receipt. If the Whiteline Product is found to be defective and covered by a warranty, the Whiteline Product will be replaced, free of charge, except that the expense in claiming any warranty relating to the Whiteline Product must be borne by the Purchaser. No warranty, either express or implied, is given for any product specified as "Race", "Competition" or "Off-road".
The benefits given by the warranties set out below are in addition to other rights and remedies under a law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranties relate.

Returns Policy Hakon NZ LTD Credit & Return Policy Goods cannot be returned without obtaining prior approval, and a 10% restocking fee will be applied. No returns will be accepted after 30 days of the original invoice, unless approved beforehand. Returns approved after 30 days will incur a 25% restocking fee. All returns must be sent to the designated warehouse specified during approval and must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice and a valid explanation for the return. Goods that have been damaged or installed cannot be returned and no credits will be issued. These items will be returned to the customer at their expense. A further 10% fee will be charged for returns with damaged packaging. Special order items are not eligible for return or credit. For warranty returns, please refer to our Warranty Policy. Any changes to this policy will be at the discretion of the National Sales & Operations Manager.
